Saturday Night Drinks
Looking for some new drinks to make your nights out more interesting?
Try some of our favorite drinks.
Smiling Jerry
This drink looks strange
but tastes great. Don't let the great taste fool you though,
because it packs a punch that can put you down for the night if you're
not careful. The Smiling Jerry is a refreshing drink that can put your
night into high gear and send you on your way to drunktown.
This drink is best served over ice in a pint glass.
Mix the following:
- One shot (1 oz) rye (Canadian) whiskey
- One shot (1 oz) vodka
- Fill glass with half orange juice and half cola
We like this drink so much that we've created several variations. Shake
things up with one of these offshoots:
White Jerry: replace the cola with ginger ale.
Jerry Goes to Jail: add Red Bull to the cola and orange juice mix.
Florida
Leisure Suit
The Florida
Leisure Suit is a tasty drop shot that provides a great energy drink
boost. Although much like the Jager Bomb, the Florida Leisure Suit is a
great alternative drink for when you get "Jagered out".
Prep this like any other drop shot as follows:
- Pour Red Bull into a short glass
- Mix half Raspberry Sour Puss and half orange vodka in a 1
oz shot glass
- Drop shot into glass with Red Bull and chug
The Florida Leisure
Suit was created when the shot portion of the drink, the Florida Track
Pants, was dropped into Red Bull. To distinguish the new drink from
just the shot, it was named the Florida Leisure Suit.
Sake Bomb
Have
some fun and grab everyones attention with the Sake Bomb. This sake
into beer drop shot is done with a bang but goes down smooth.
Assemble this drink as follows:
- Partly fill a short glass with beer
- Fill a 1 oz shot glass with sake
- Place 2 chop sticks parallel across the top of the cocktail
glass
- Balance the shot glass on top of the chop sticks
- Everybody simultaneously bang on the table or bar to cause
the shots to fall into the glass
- Down and enjoy
The surprising part of this drink is that the beer and sake mix to
produce almost no taste. It's almost like drinking water.
